What is a Third Party Event Fundraiser?

Third party fundraising events benefit Kinsa but are wholly and completely sponsored and organized by an individual, company or organization other than Kinsa. Since you will be the event planner, you will arrange the following: map out all the details, cover all expenses, recruit volunteers, budget for the event, promote the event... Once your Third Party Event application has been approved, you can get started! Third party events are a great way to have fun and contribute at the same time.

How do I organize an event?
Review the General Information of our Third Party events page on our website. There you will find how Kinsa can help, as well as a list of guidelines to help you. Once you have decided on the details of your event, the first step is to complete the Third Party Event Application Form

Can you mail my event information out to your donors?
Unfortunately, Kinsa cannot mail your event information out to its existing donors.

Can you find sponsors for our event?

Kinsa cannot help you with sponsorship – we cannot approach individuals or corporations on your behalf.

Can you promote our event for us?
Once your event is approved, and we have all the necessary information, we will include your event on our Current
Events page.

Can I issue tax receipts for my event? How do I manage receipting?
Please see Tax Receipting in our general Information section.

Can we use the Kinsa logo on our promotional material?
Once your event is approved we will provide you with our logo. Please be aware that we reserve the right to approve all promotional material prior to its release.

Can you get media to come out for our event? Can you put out a press release for us?
Unfortunately, Kinsa cannot commit to helping in this regard.

I would like to donate merchandise to Kinsa.
Kinsa would be happy to accept donations of material. Kinsa’s events normally feature a silent auction to increase revenue. Please contact kchishom@kinsa.net with your suggestion.

How are you going to recognize me for hosting an event?
Kinsa will recognize any individual or organization with a thank you letter and unless otherwise stated on your Third Party Event Application form, will include mention of you and your effort on our website.

I heard about an upcoming event. Where can I get information about tickets?
