Frank Clegg
Former President, Microsoft Canada

As president of Microsoft Corp’s Canadian subsidiary, Frank Clegg was responsible for the sales division, Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS), PSS and support services, marketing and consumer products in Canada. In that role, Clegg worked to ensure Microsoft has the resources and strategies in place to design, develop and deliver solutions based on Microsoft technology to the company’s Canadian customers, as well as to develop key partners in that country.

Previously, Clegg was vice president for the Central U.S. and Canada region from 1995-2000. Clegg joined Microsoft in 1991 as general manager of Microsoft Canada. Before coming to Microsoft, Clegg worked for IBM Canada Ltd. for 14 years, serving in a number of sales and management positions, including branch manager, manufacturing and process industries, manager of revenue programs and manager of competitive marketing.

Clegg holds a bachelors degree in math with honours from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. He was also honoured with Canada’s Presidents Award five times from 1991 to 1996.
