Child Exploitation Tracking System
The Future
How We Make A Difference

Kinsa Global Think Tank

Kinsa hosted its first global Think Tank session in November 2008, bringing together experts from law enforcement and the private sector to discuss how Internet safety issues will affect our children in the future. Download the abridged version of the white paper, Investigating Internet Child Exploitation Poses Complex Challenges.

Kinsa partnered with Best Buy Canada to develop a scholarship program for IT students who have developed outstanding ideas on Internet safety for children, and demonstrated academic excellence in their program of study.  Click here to read more.

The Future

To enhance the resources and knowledge base available to law enforcement, Kinsa has established substantial connections with many of the leading experts in the IT sector to stay up-to-date and ahead of the curve in terms of the latest technology, how it is being exploited by cyber criminals, and how law enforcement can use it to stay ahead of offenders.

Kinsa hosted its first global Think Tank session in November 2008. Experts from law enforcement and the private sector came from as far away as Europe, North America, Africa and South America to discuss emerging trends in computer facilitated crimes against children. The discussion was deliberately structured to ensure it brought forward the perspectives of all participants in this ever changing and evolving field.

The outcome was a tremendously informative White Paper that takes an in-depth look at the complex challenges of investigating and eradicating the online sexual exploitation of children.  To date, the White Paper has been presented at Conferences and has been distributed globally.

Kinsa will continue to meet new challenges by contributing to the development of a diverse universal workforce that is dedicated to finding and rescuing children from abuse.  Kinsa is committed to nourishing new and existing partnerships with law enforcement, children’s services, healthcare and the IT and private sector. Working together will ensure that we are able to maximize our efforts to stop the online sexual exploitation of children.

Kinsa President and CEO Paul Gillespie, has presented the White Paper at many Conferences including: the 5th Annual World Congress on Family Law and Children’s Rights in Halifax in August 2009, and also the Trans-Pacific Symposium on Dismantling Illicit networks Conference in Hawaii in November 2009.

As Kinsa looks towards the future, and how we can add the greatest value to society, we are in talks with private sector companies to form a consortium of talented minds and technology innovators  to open up an International Centre in Toronto which will form the foundation of the work we have begun - bringing training to all of the world and to provide services that are internet savvy to protect the world’s children.
