The UN recently released their study on Violence against children .

It estimates that 7% of the world's boys under the age of 18, and 14% of its girls have been raped.

That's 223 Million children.

Here are some additional statistics from Interpol.

• Police estimate that over 500,000 distinct images of children being abused can be found on-line


• These images represent 20,000 different child victims


• Police have only identified 500 and rescued even fewer

In addition, our experience with enforcement in this area provides the following anecdotal figures.

• Every week, two or three new victim images can be viewed on-line


• The problem is growing - as the international penetration of the internet grows, so does the opportunity to exploit children
