It's hard to believe, but Kinsa's annual Heroes of the Fight Celebration is just a week away!
This annual event has become a something of a hallmark for us here at Kinsa. We relish this opportunity to celebrate individuals who are making a difference in the fight against online child exploitation, and highlight the success stories from the past year. Their passion and dedication for the work they do is truly inspiring, and the world is a better place because of their committment to protecting and helping children.
The Heroes who are being honoured this year are:
Lisa Henderson - Provincial Crown Coordinator for Ontario’s Provincial Strategy to Combat Internet Crimes Against Children.
Dr. Angela Eke, Ph.D. - Coordinator of the Research Unit within the Behavioural Sciences and Analysis Services (BSAS), Ontario Provincial Police
Dr. Michael Seto, Ph.D, C. Psych., - Consultant to the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group's Integrated Forensic Program and is cross-appointed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto.
Detective Sergeant Frank Goldschmidt - Ontario Provincial Police Coordinator for the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet.
Sergeant Arnold Guerin - Saanich Police Department, seconded to the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre (NCECC) as the Technology Manager
Quiettouch - Dave Templton, President, and Allan Raeside, Chieft Operating Officer
