Dan McTeague
Liberal M.P. Pickering-Scarborough East, Ontario

Dan is a Liberal Member of Parliament. In November of 2002, Dan invited a group of law enforcement officers to come to Ottawa to make a presentation to an all-parties meeting about Child pornography and the Internet. This was the first time that such an event had occurred. Dan was one of the few who immediately recognized the significance that the Internet was having on the exploitation of children, including our Canadian children. Dan’s constant pressure on Parliament Hill was a driving force behind the Federal Government giving the RCMP $42Million to start up the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre in Ottawa, whose efforts have made Canadian Law Enforcement respected by all.
