Steve Sullivan
Canadian Ombudsman for Victims of Crime

In 2007, the Federal Department of Justice named Steve by Order-In-Council Canada’s first Federal Ombudsman for Victims of Crime.  As Ombudsman, Steve tirelessly promotes awareness of victims’ needs and concerns with all levels of government, industry, and policy makers.  Steve has released an extensive report entitled Every Image, Every Child, wherein he identifies the horrendous scope of the problem of Internet child exploitation and recommends nine important and insightful mechanisms to the Federal government that will better protect and address the needs of its most vulnerable victims.
